You're growing two crops there, Erin. The four heads of 'kids' are definitely the best, but the wheat is beautiful too.
Marvelously evocative photos: put me back into the serenity of the seemingly unbounded wheat fields under clear hot deep blue North Dakota skies during a much beloved family reunion a few years ago...thanks!
Lookie there, your wheat is just starting to change colors now! Hope you have a good harvest! Our Kansas harvest was good and we've been done about 2 weeks or more now!
Beautiful!!!Nice to see you didnt give up on the blog !!
I've taken pictures of my own kids out in the wheat and you're reminding me I haven't done it yet this year. It is a wonderful site to be proud of.
Whoa! You haven't disappeared!!!! Yay!! Welcome back and wow - gorgeous pics.
I've been looking at a lot of other blogs, lately, and I can't help but compare them (very unfavorably) with yours. Your pre-mom English & journalism training and your wife & working mom-phase humanity really shine.
Beautiful... reminds me of scenes from Little House on the Prairie.And... WOW! Your kids have really grown.
Mmmmm, this brings back memories. I was brought up on a 3,000 acre wheat and cattle ranch. I loved hiding in the green wheat when it was tall and starting to turn!
