Not Funny

Seriously? It could stop snowing any time now.

In other news, we survived the dentist (although we broke our eleven year run of no cavities). We had only one chick casualty while we were gone, thanks to our excellent chick sitters who even wiped the little chick behinds because they were pasting up.

In the surgeon's words, our youngest daughter threw us a little "curveball" during surgery. It turns out that she has a submucous cleft palate and cannot have her adenoids out. Now we know what caused her constant ear infections, and we will soon find out if the tubes they inserted will help her stay healthier.

I am thankful to have my kids back in my arms and out of the big city. Home is a nice place to be. . . even if it is snowing in June.

When I saw the weather forecast for your area, I literally thought, "Wow! Erin is going to be getting snow... in June!!!" Then, I turned and said it outloud to my husband without even thinking. Of course, his reply was, "Who is Erin?" LOL

Glad all your chicks are safely on the farm - the feathered and unfeathered ones!

It did snow here today. But then it is winter. (And it didn't snow as much as in your picture.)

Hope the ear infections can be cleared up some other way .... one of our children has a similar problem and it's very frustrating when it seems the Dr can't do anything to help.

Glad the kiddo's are doing okay.. Hopefully the tubes work for the little one and at least now you know know why she is always getting ear infections..

PS: Hope the snow goes away soon for you!
