The physical properties of flight have been explained to me on numerous occasions.
I understand the principles.
I understand that the pilot has been trained to operate the aircraft.
I understand that flying is statistically safer than driving a car.
With that in mind, I still maintain that landing a plane on that little tiny airstrip is nothing short of a miracle.
Thank God for safe landings, happy homecomings, hugs, and my very own pillow.

Welcome home!!!
I think the same thing every time I get off of a plane. I hate flying! I am a nervous wreck the minute I book the flight. Hearing about the recent two crashes does NOT help. At least I don't have to fly for a while!
Hope you had a great trip!
oh AMEN!
Absolutely wonderful photo!!! - So tells a Montana story and is beautiful also.
I'm not all that found of the airport hustle and bus-trip like feel of flying but the views sometimes make it worth it.
Welcome home!
My daddy's a pilot and I do love to fly... but I'm still thankful when the wheels safely touch the ground.
Blessings, friend!
