Snow Day

We chose to play.

But first, we had some chores to do.

The table needed cleared off.

Then the slide needed a good cleaning.

Mission accomplished.

Some snow needed moved.

A puppy needed love.

And then it was time to go inside and warm up.

Now the snow is gone, and the wind has whipped the last of the leaves off the trees and into the mud puddles.

But that's okay, because mud puddles are almost as much fun as snowbanks.

Just ask the mud-caked kids and the puppy whose feet are not so snowy white anymore.

Awwww! What fun! I can't believe you already have snow. We'll be lucky if we get now in December. Just tons of rain ;). Your kids are so cute!

Terrific pictures! I haven't even bought my 3 children snow suits yet! And we got 8 feet of snow last year - you'd think I'd be on top of this! Thanks for the reminder... gotta go shopping!

Your puppy is downright adorable. I actually said, "aaawwwwww!"

Blessings, Whitney

Looks like fun! I love the early snow, it's the April snow that starts to get to me. Won't be long for us here in WI!

Wow, you must have a looooong winter! I like going to the Snowy Mountains for a day, but I've had enough snow by 4pm! I guess you just get used to what you're used to.

I knew you'd pick play! lol I'm glad it's melted so it's soaking into the soil for you. At least the dreaded grasshoppers are history! You remind me that I need to start getting the coats, hats and gloves out of storage. Here in Minnesota we can get snow at anytime also. drat.

When the kids are small, snow means lots of smiles and good times! I am just glad it skipped over us! Our 13-20 dregree nites for over a week now are bad enough!
