And Now I Have Fleas

I should have known better than to boast about the end of my potty training escapades.

The end was short lived.

Meet Charlie. He is a three-month-old Border Collie with a gentle disposition and a long tongue that has touched every face of his four new owners this weekend.

He was raised in a barn. Literally. His former home was on a Quarter Horse ranch where he had a comfy stall for a bed and an entire riding arena for a litter box.

While he will not be a house dog here, he will be invited in on special occasions and during very cold weather. And when the toddler opens the back door and calls, "Come here, Charweeee."

So ends my potty training vacation.

And now you know why I have fleas.

Borders are the best dogs! I love to watch them work cattle.

Fleas. Grrr! The worst thing about having indoor/outdoor pets.

Good luck with the potty training.

I just know you could write something just as good or better than this. Just publish your blog in book form!

Oh dear - fleas! I had a battle with them once that I had real doubts I could win. My poor little boy looked like he had chicken pox he was so bitten up (perhaps because I let him sleep with a couple of the kittens).
He sure looks sweet though. I think he'll be well worth the effort.
