The crust is the best part. Seriously, what were they eating.
Your kids eat pie like I eat pie LOL. Personally I say chuck the crust whatever is inside is the best part!
I have a crustless pumpkin pie recipe (seriously!) - let me know if you'd like it. That's all I make anymore when making a pumpkin pie. For all others, I still make the crust.
To make a wonderful Turkey Dinner with all the fixings that many other Winifredians and fellow neighboring community members could enjoy for the entire day. It was a very good meal. Thanks!!!
I hate pie crust. Someone always says they have a great pie crust recipe and I have to try it. I never like it. I also despise pumpkin pie. You need a whole tub of Cool Whip to cover up the nasty that is pumpkin pie. And I don't so much like Cool Whip any more. The only crust I like is a cookie crumb crust (graham cracker, Oreo, Nilla wafer, etc.). Really I just don't care that much for the pie fillings either. I like lemon meringue with Nilla wafer crust and a few others okay.
I have a scarily-close-to-being-a-teenager nephew of yours who would probably pay you big bucks to send one of those down here for his birthday! It is his request instead of cake. He might even eat the crust. (But if he doesn't, I surely would, because I also think the crust is the BEST PART!!!) =)

My Grams used to say if I was going to eat pie that way she'd start putting the pudding in a bowl for me instead. She never did though :o) she always gave me pie. Miss Her! It looked great, what kind was it? Blessings, Whitney
Ok, whoever ate this needs to come talk to me. I would have eaten just the crust and no one would have been the wiser.
I don't even bother making crusts anymore. Just for this reason. Nobody around here has even noticed they're gone!
Had to laugh at this picture.. Reminds me of my kids.. They don't eat the crust on most things..
