If you could choose one blogger to visit in person, who would it be (and why)?
Ohhhh good question!!!David Lebovitz (http://www.davidlebovitz.com/index.html). Hands down. Why?He lives in Paris. He's fantastic. He lives in Paris. :)
I'd visit You, Erin! I've always wanted to go to Montana, and you are such an awesome wife/mom; I'd love to pick your brain a bit. I feel like I know your family already, and I'd love to see your sunsets up close. I've never seen a mountain in person. How lame is that? Got to get out more!!! Have diaper bag, will travel, eh? :o)
I think it would be Pioneer Woman. Because I could spend the morning working cows the old fashioned way (riding the horses and branding by roping, rather than bring them in with a feed truck and run them thru the chute). And then she would cook for me, since she loves to do so. I think I could be very fat, happy and content with her cooking. And her kids are all the same ages as mine kids (and your kids), I'd just turn all those country kids loose to play together. While Ree and I sit around drinking adult beverages together playing guitar hero. hehe, fantasy world here. LOL!
You of course Erin!!! Except I'd be worried (as with any other blogger) that their concept of me, and the real Bush Babe, don't actually coincide!!And I'd also like to visit Deb, and Pioneer Woman, and Pencil Writer, and Jenni and Novel Woman and ... you just don't have room here in your comments section!!!HugsBB
Oh gosh, this is a tough decision. I'd have to say either you (because I love your views and opinions on everything- similar to my own! And I've always intended to visit Montana), Kristin from Going Country (she always makes me laugh and she's a goofy country nutball, I love it), or Shauna from Gluten-free Girl- I've been following her story for years and she's such a lovely person, plus she can feed me gluten-free grub (I'm allergic to wheat). :D They're all a tie for 1st :P.
I would like to visit Linda from Just Another Day on the Prairie. She lives in Canada. Or SKeller from Short On Words because she lives close to the beach in California. Or The Cotton Wife in Virgina because she and I have so much in common.
Oh this is a hard one! I love reading so many different kind of Blogs. But I think I would love to go and visit Max and Michelle over at Galloping Grace Youth Ranch. They look like they have a lot of fun. http://gallopinggraceyouthranch.blogspot.com/I too would love to visit Pioneer Woman. I would love to stay in that Lodge!
Hi,Er--I'd like to visit the Bush Babe and her familiy. I see so many similarities to our way of life, and she has that dry, snarky sense of humor that you also use so well. She likes her kids, too. See Ya-Dad
Well, I could go with the obvious and say YOU... since I truly would love to visit Montana. I've never been but all the photos I've seen are just beautiful. So, I'll be only slightly less obvious and say fortheloveofsam.blogspot.com, because she honestly is my best friend in real life - and we live so far, far from each other. I'll take any excuse to get to visit her!
Are you going to answer your own question in tomorrow's blog?
I don't think I could narrow it down to one...
I would visit Scary (Sarah) and Jeremiah from scaryswest.blogspot.comThey are close and seem like interesting people that live in a beautiful location.
Mason of Husbandry at Trapper Creek because her farm (ranch?) is a perfect model for what we are heading toward doing. Anyway, she's always making all kinds of yummy jams and things.
I would visit dooce and pioneer woman because I'm fascinated with their lives and they make me laugh.
Well, I'd probably pick Ree since her blog started it all for me. I'd never really cared to read blogs before that. (Just look what she started!) Plus, she only lives about 2 hours from me. Last month I knew I'd be within 30 minutes of where she lives and thought about emailing her to see if I could visit. The timing wasn't the best though. Someday. There are really so many bloggers I'd love to meet. I see a few here...
