The Big Sky

This is my backyard. I was probaby 150 feet away from my house when I took this picture. I am blessed.

I guess this is why they call Montana "The Big Sky State." We have had some big, beautiful skies lately, along with our 50 degree weather. Apologies to those who are freezing today.

I grew up much closer to the mountains, and it has taken me nearly 13 years to develop an affection for this landscape. It's starting to grow on me.

Erin, that is BEAUTIFUL! Bekka was in awe that you get to look at that everyday. Love reading your blog and you inspire me to take more pictures of my kids, our animals and our place so I have pictures to show my grandkids one day. Keep up the great work!

Erin, you don't have to write anything. Your pictures say it ALL!

Erin, I love your place. Greg looked at it and said it looks like some thing out of those westerns he watches (and longs to be a part of...). Someday, I hope to be able to see it in person.

Hugs...... j.

Blessed, indeed! My husband pines for such a landscape to look upon...

We may have lakes, but mountains are nowhere to be seen in MN. :)
